The Farcaster Secret Master Plan

Goal: get to 1B+ DAU for protocol

1. Grow DAU by 100x (single digit millions). Likely through Warpcast.
2. More developers get interested in building new social apps
3. New apps attract users; virtuous cycle
4. Win crypto first, then other categories. Likely through channels.

1/ How will Farcaster succeed if apps have to compete with Warpcast?

If there are enough daily active users of the protocol and the underlying data and APIs are actually permissionless, people will build new and interesting apps.

This has been the plan since the beginning (channels being a new thing along the way).

Maybe. But not having basic features on Warpcast (flagship) will deter ppl for trying other apps.
Atm 
- priority is overkill (feels like censorship sometimes, missing replies from frens
- no gif keyboard is… inexplicable
- pinning cast(s) on profile could be great

We need more frames and actions specifically targeted at the new and least engaged with accounts that are producing great content.

So many right now are focused on stroking the egos of the elite on WC.

Not a problem inherently. But bad for new users who feel like they're talking to themselves.

Priority is absolutely one of the bigger contributing factors to this.
