How are people feeling about the channels change?

Honest feedback requested!

1. Rollout was smooth, but sudden in terms of the magnitude and impact of the change.

2. Mods have a lot of pressure and in some cases a significant amount of work  to be done and it could harm participation in those channels. No evidence of this other than anecdotal since most of the channels I follow haven't invited yet.

3. Mods could have been given lead time to handle the load of invites so that when the launch did happen the channels were more fleshed out.

I think it'll take a few weeks to see the real impact though.

For those that are having to go through the channel followers it seems like there's a lot to do to curate who's in or not. I know folks are working on tools to make this better, but right now it seems like a lot.

I'm also imagining mods DCs and timelines blowing up with requests.

Again I'll qualify this with the fact that I'm seeing invites slow roll in.

All that said I've got a list of channels I'm looking to spin up after I research what's out there already. So I must like it overall :-)
