I also enjoyed the Secret Barrister which might be quite similar, It's about the british system but it very much highlights how the law is constructed often in ways to prevent us normies to even use it to fend for our rights.

I haven’t read it yet - it’s on my list - it’s about the property that is still held privately from rights from the times of land enclosures

was living in the UK and had a rental agency that told me to "just sue us" when refusing to hand me back my safety deposit. 

So yea, it hit quite different to read that the system has made it purposefully too expensive for me to use it for such things.
