If you think creating representative benchmarks for ZK is hard, then don't even start thinking about MPC. The addition of network dynamics introduces a whole new level of complexity that could be debated endlessly.

I think people/organizations care about privacy. That said they often don’t call it privacy. For example I know a lot of crypto orgs that would like to do their financial transactions in crypto. The transparency (think salaries) alone kills this effort before going into the details.
