In web2, PETs (zk, mpc, fhe) mostly strengthen incumbents—not users or competition. In web3, they do the opposite: PETs accelerate decentralization and open the door for entirely new ecosystems.

We’ve been building the TACEO network quietly since launching our Alphanet at Devcon the big challenge? --> our customers and partners aren’t asking for a devnet they want a production ready network it will be ready for them before summer 🫡

Land, labor, capital, and entrepreneurship all have highly liquid markets—data doesn’t. It’s a key production factor, but trading it efficiently is still an open problem.

I see more and more people arguing that personal data at the edge isn’t needed to improve AI. That might be true for general-purpose tasks. But saying my personal data won’t improve AI for me is like saying training methods won’t improve if tailored to a specific athlete. A similar mindset existed in professional sports years ago—yet most athletic improvements in recent decades come from more personalized training methods.

It’s becoming clearer to me: we’re all building the same thing—a liquid data market.

I believe this hackathon will change the trajectory of a few devs and builders in ways they can’t even imagine. Why? Because it did for us. To be fair, it wasn’t a hackathon, but two events during the Brat summer (anyone remember what that was?). But those two events—where people came together in what we now call the Noir ecosystem—put us on a different trajectory. They saw the world the way we did, got excited about a shared future we could build, and were full of energy. So I can only recommend: join this hackathon. You’ll gain much more than just learning the future standard for zk smart contracts https://tally.so/r/3NRdaW

Private Shared State will do for data what property rights did for land. New ownership unlocks new types of participation. That’s not a metaphor—that’s economic history repeating. With PSS, users actually own their data. Apps can compute on it without taking custody. No silos, no liability, no need to trust third parties
