scratch the first half of that last line and keep 'new inventions are also new mediums'... then yes.

Agree with others that it's a natural phenomenon

But also sometimes old formats find new life! Would say audiobooks & livestreams are good examples

they're not mistakes they're steps toward understanding the new medium. was so close to being a W take but ended up being an L take
