I feel like in my 30s I am paying for the sins of my teens. If this is true across a spectrum. How low is your teen sins? Happy Sunday.

I feel you, bro. I've been always pretty active physically but I'm quite sure that my teenage years decreased my IQ by at least 5-10 points.

Wow true. Self-compassion, forgiveness, and gratitude sound make-believe, but they're the only path forward. Youth does not come with knowledge nor wisdom. Youth feels immortal, unflappable, and doesn't accept death. Lessons need to be learned, only life can teach those lessons. 🫠

“Life can only be observed backwards, but lived forwards” Therefore, this feeling is inevitable. All you can do is build upon your lessons and pass them to the next generation.

I’m turning 40 in a few weeks and I can def say I’ve paid dearly during this decade for my sins of the 20s. There’s no going back, though, so I’m hopeful for the next decade of my life.
