Got this book around a year ago. Every single page is full of wisdom and knowledge. Currently focused on planning. Having a busy life without planning to the max, can lead to a more chaotic and imbalanced life. Do you plan to the max? Or at all? Letting go of what I can't control and focusing on what I can control now. Long term, my kids will pick up these habits and be better equipped in the future

Without my lists I am a lost soul but at the same time I have to allow some days without any list or plans, just to feel the time moving freely. This is a dangerous game though, because freely experiencing time is addictive and could lead to laziness. This book is brilliant

I used to be very consistent with specific tasks but that changed as I grew older and having kids. Now I'm slowly getting it all back. Simply finding out the maximum hours for each category made me see that in accumulation, big things can be achieved. 100% recommend this book Do you play and learn new pieces every day?

Totally can relate, although my life didn’t transform in the direction of having kids, so can’t relate to that part, but in certain stages some things just take precedence and then it feels like a free fall without a collision or resolution, just dissolving. Habit is so important. You asked the crucial question because that is where I developed it, thanks to piano almost military overriding laziness. I am not practicing or learning at fast pace like I used to. I take a very very long time. Art of fugue by Bach for example took 2 years of almost(minus traveling) every day practice. Now with romantic and 20th century pieces, I skip many days, but for proper progress morning 1 or 2 hour routine does wonders for the repertoire. It also accumulates but I need breathing time as well to reconsider things. It is a true alchemy and very difficult to strike a balance. I am striving through, maybe onchain can do something here to commit myself in front of the world and pull others this way, into onchain
