Quite cringe to see literally everyone celebrating a decision some American government agency made on a tradfi instrument that will allow more retail users get exposure to ETH. Yes it is a win for legitimacy. But, I wish the same enthusiasm was shown about any of the actual uses of crypto we promise to the world.

Imagine we are hiking up a mountain. On our mission to the top, along all the adventures we experience, you are the person complaining that we took the wrong bridge across the river. For all the greatness of the person that you are, the last couple of days have made you sound like a sore loser on the winning team.

the biggest and brightest capital market has been plagued with an extremely hostile political environment and this signals an unprecedented shift in the wind -- which will bring about even more actual uses of crypto -- more dev freedom, etc. maybe if you were a dev based in the US you'd feel different idk

Cringe is quite a stretch but I agree with your general sentiment.

I'm not entirely sure how to feel about it tbh I think some of the implications of the approval (especially the US government being less hostile to crypto) matter more than the ETFs themselves That being said, I feel like FIT21 is a much stronger indicator of that trend in the US
