I'm genuinely considering abandoning twitter. A content recommendation algorithm with a political agenda is a no-go for me. Given this study, and given Elons recent tweets (e.g. https://x.com/uwwgo/status/1892511744200704509) I dislike this a lot. it is extremely distasteful and disappointing for me to see, honestly. And I don't like the EU over-regulating so many things, but a social media platform with an arguable monopoly SHOULD be regulated to not actively steer public discussion through a biased algorithm.
