Also good for the network. Blindly staking retail's ETH via an ETF would make it appear as if there is no risk in staking.

And if mom and pap lost their savings due to a mass slashing event (staking risk) I don't want to imagine the backlash.

It’s good. Imagine the chaos if an ETF lost all the money due to a supermajority consensus bug or something else the buyers likely don’t understand.

Also imagine the headache it would be to explain staking to your grandma 😅
