I make my computer do all sorts of goofy things.

yea I have seen the plans but any such action will take time.

Has been consistently like that for almost a week whenever I tried to use it.

Since it's a supply/demand kind of thing I am also trying to understand what is taking up so much activity.

i have noticed this too, but always comes down relatively quickly, @jessepollak has outlined the plans they have to fix.

so much demand! they're increasing the gas limit on base shortly which should help, but I would imagine the fees stay elevated for a bit given the level of activity

There is too much activity happening right now. I believe the block every 2 seconds is not doing the trick :( 

I could not conduct a txn with a 3$ balance. It's scary.
