How do you systematically manage your attention? A few of my experiments: - Obsidian spaced repetition (see more: shorturl.at/cLRY6) - Training social media algorithms like a pet - Feedly for article consumption Our outputs reflect our inputs. Would love any suggestions!

Customizable algorithms of the future should optimize for the individual's goals - rather than the goals of the platform.

I only let myself do 1 thing at a time. I used to context switch a lot — like opening discord and another website at the same time and looking at both. Made my brain hurt. So I always just do 1 thing at a time! Keeps your attention sharp!

As of now I’m a free-range cattle. Managing my thoughts more than my attention. Whenever my attention is captured I hold judgment and think of intersecting vectors to something I’m already thinking of. FC is my pasture.

Twitter lists has been my favorite trick so far. Helps me stay focused on twitter instead of just doom scroll.

Have you tried any other spaced repetition apps like Anki? Curious how Obsidian compares
