I like where you're going but IMO it's probably still too busy and distracting. What if you picked just one letter and have it change at random intervals to a symbol that represents success or something? Like with my PFP, I made myself blink intervals that are prime numbers so it looks almost random even though it's a static GIF. You could change to symbol 1 after 0.5 secs, and change back after 0.25 secs, then don't change for 1.5 secs... I'm afraid that's the limits of my creativity.
