Pretty underrated how good of a product Warpcast is. Basically never breaks - feels exactly like Twitter with better built-in distribution. Enables seamless onchain transactions and has a really healthy core community. Study Warpcast.

Another massive problem w poW is that economies of scale lead to more centralization over time especially in face of diminishing block rewards. Home mining has been dead for ~ 7 years now. Home staking will always survive

The roadmap is working. Farcaster wouldn't be possible without L2s. Users would have to pay $25 to $300 (during bull markets) just in gas to create a new FID onchain, and without FIDs, users couldn't own their social graph and there would be no Farcaster. Rome wasn't built in a day

What revolution did Farcaster and Base bring to crypto? 1/4 They made minting NFTs and claiming airdrops seamless, like posting a tweet or receiving a message on Instagram. At the same time, all the valuable assets are stored onchain, and the platforms can't take them away.

I assume that warpcast uses some algorithmic process to sort the feeds but I haven't seen any details on how they handle spam and/or censor hate speech/false information. Spam is always going to be an issue unless there is some filtering mechanism.
