Tonight my 60+ year old father-in-law asked me to help get him setup with Crypto (he’s always trying to learn the latest stuff; super smart guy). Got him setup with the Coinbase wallet in less than 2 mins, sent him some USDC on Base for free, and sent him an NFT. This is the way. 🔵

Discs but they just have QR codes - you scan them with CBW and claim NFTs/USDC. Imagine.

AOL disk were the masses first chance to use the internet. Maybe it should have CB wallet link, loaded address, ENS ready to set, easy social recovery ready to link with other disks, walk throughs on how to use the wallet, chain, and dapps.

Also think social recovery is key. I’ve gifted ledgers and stored seeds temporarily but it was a terrible process. Would love something that helps ensure they’re not nuked if they screw up layer.

Its interesting how CB wallet handles it already. When you start it up for the first time and create a new wallet, there is no recovery phrase process. There is a little prompt when you go to settings to back up with iCloud which is nice imo, as well as the phrase if you want to go deeper
