Mac is a polished experience. when they work, they work better than anything, ever. 

but Windows is consistent. reliable. doesn't do weird shit when you mouse into the corners. 

neither are perfect.

but one of them results in fewer trips to my therapist about suicidal ideation, and with all that money saved i can buy another Windows machine just to rub it in.

+ when did you realize Windows made you want to crash out less than Macs?

started on Windows 95 and Mac OS 9 and a few ancient, unnameable machines ("Amiga... now that's a name i haven't heard in a while."), but i've been around the block, including trying to roll my own (don't do that, lol)

honestly every time i try to help my parents with their Macs i always have at least a handful of moments where i shake with rage about hot corners and window management and app permissions and and and

it's just so much rage, lol

and inb4 "skill issue"
