i wonder how much the daylight conversion funnel increases if the link from the email routes to the actual mint instead of a daylight url

Definitely a drag on conversion, but I personally get a little confidence boost from clicking the link via Daylight. Direct link in email would make things way too easy for spoof sites/wallet drainers.
