The hottest technology we need right now π¨ - that also must be obvious and easy to use = we can call it "proof of reality." PROOF OF REALITY for everything: from a photo or video I'm looking at, article or research paper I'm reading, this post and the rest... Who's building that and how well is it going? π₯Έ

Pinata + wallet signatures on device is the answer to this at scale. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fmuDXhoK-ZQ

hey kyle π great to hear it's still going. I almost thought you guys dropped the ball on it since it has been a couple of months when I heard about it the last time. Any cooperations with others trying to work on the content or imaging verification side of things? It doesn't feel like Pinata's cup of tea trying to push it outside of dev world, but that's what is needed.

To solve the problem, apps need to sign the file at creation on device. So, it has to be a dev first thing. @stevedylandev.eth is working on installing an IPFS node + wallet on device for an NVIDIA Jetson Orin Nano. This will create verifiable edge data for DePIN applications. The next logical step would be in mobile applications. To make the world you are talking about work, it has to start at the device. https://warpcast.com/stevedylandev.eth/0x977db61f

Def agree that it has to start on the device. What I meant was more nuanced. I was just pointing out that there are some other people trying to make similar things work, they all trend towards apps and device (in the end), slightly different tech approach, but they all (just my opinion) could benefit from pinata's IPFS first approach. And pinata could benefit from more evangelisation outside of devs needing storage. Don't get me wrong, I think you're doing great work. I just think we need more of it. When I worked with ETHO protocol guys, they were all in love with pinata and couldn't stop talking about it. π
