The post specifically, no. It doesn't.

But, why do people make the delineation between onchain vs offchain? 

The delineation implies something, no? 

Why do NFTs market that they are onchain to begin with? 

It has to imply something beyond the technical specifics that most NFT holders don't understand.

If you’re not storing the data onchain, it’s not an onchain nft. That doesn’t mean that it’s not ok to store data offchain, but the post is specifically about onchain nfts

Adding to what's already been said, "onchain nft" in 2021 is much stricter of a term than it is today.

I think the true benefit of EVM-stored media is how freely interoperable it is.

This doesn't devalue offchain NFTs as the value of NFTs actually comes more from social signals!
