my biggest concern with people in tech who spend all day shouting on the internet is that many of them spend very little time talking to the people actually critical to society:

doctors, firefighters, police officers, construction workers, mechanics, farmers, chefs, baristas, mailmen, janitors, retail workers, etc.

When I worked in the cattle industry, I often thought about how the ranchers I worked with don't share their thoughts on the internet in anyway.

I found them to be incredibly profound and complex yet none of it ended up on the internet.
