Do women apologize too much? 

A mentor of mine once suggested subtle ways to stop apologizing.  Instead of  "Sorry I'm late", she told me to use ️"Thank you for your patience".

I try not to overthink it and there's probably a balance to strike.

Not apologizing, but seems related. 

A few years ago caught myself always staring a sentence with “I think…”, “it seems to me…”, “I assume…”. 

In reality I knew exactly what I was talking about. Still working on this

there's of course right context and situation for everything

😆 So I've been intentionally adding "I think" into a lot of my farcastHER posts because it creates an invitation for someone to disagree.  This is one arena I don't want to appear authoritative in, I want to invite other view points. At work, I remove the "I thinks" where a more authoritative tone will help
