Do women apologize too much? A mentor of mine once suggested subtle ways to stop apologizing. Instead of "Sorry I'm late", she told me to use ️"Thank you for your patience". I try not to overthink it and there's probably a balance to strike. https://warpcast.com/nonlinear.eth/0xfe3e7060

Not apologizing, but seems related. A few years ago caught myself always staring a sentence with β€œI think…”, β€œit seems to me…”, β€œI assume…”. In reality I knew exactly what I was talking about. Still working on this

πŸ˜† So I've been intentionally adding "I think" into a lot of my farcastHER posts because it creates an invitation for someone to disagree. This is one arena I don't want to appear authoritative in, I want to invite other view points. At work, I remove the "I thinks" where a more authoritative tone will help
