the brighter the days the further I wish to detach myself from the online world. thatโs something that is scary to say out loud in a community that rewards screen time and engagement.

but whatโs the reward? if your mind feels better away from it is that not more rewarding than some virtual validation + digital dopamine? every passing day becomes harder to believe that this time investment pays off in beneficial ways when i have zero creative motivation from it and am constantly finding myself surrounded by bad takes and not smart people everywhere i look, but the real ones that get it stick around and suffer, and the ones with a voice that know itโs bad donโt dare speak on it as to not perturb the hand that feeds them..
