I almost made a post almost exactly like this today The amount of time I spend online is directly connected how bad I feel mentally lol Just want to log off and touch grass sometimes ๐ซ

I think many of us feel like this. It's difficult to regulate time on here. I've tried. But it takes away from other things, important things, like real life, IRL friends and time out in the world. And creating things and having your mind able to focus on deep thought tasks.

but whatโs the reward? if your mind feels better away from it is that not more rewarding than some virtual validation + digital dopamine? every passing day becomes harder to believe that this time investment pays off in beneficial ways when i have zero creative motivation from it and am constantly finding myself surrounded by bad takes and not smart people everywhere i look, but the real ones that get it stick around and suffer, and the ones with a voice that know itโs bad donโt dare speak on it as to not perturb the hand that feeds them..
