Wonderful place, but hoards of people there, like disney land. Where they all behind you? I wonder if the shuttle now makes it less crowded. I was there way back in 2015.

It actually wasn’t that bad, not sure if that’s because of the shuttle or if it’s because I was there at 5am in the freezing cold for sunrise 😬

Lake Louise on the otherhand was a zoo!

It's probably more because of 5am. Only photographers will be there. LOL I was there in the middle of the day, but I was on a road trip and that is when I was passing by. After experiencing the crowds, I decided not to return at another time. My fav lake in the area was Peyto Lake. There were trails to walk on where you could find a place to yourself or with just 2 or 3 other people there.

I've been in popular places in the dark and there were already photographers lined up there when I arrived. Best if you can sleep right there. A good place for that if you like surreal desert landscapes is Moonscape Overlook in Utah. I camped there in my car (BLM land) and then rolled out of bed and boom, sunrise photography. That's the best.

true, we are the crazy ones haha. some spots are so popular that even the early crowd can be too much! I'd love to go back and spend more time there, I'm sure there are tons of less crowded places that are just as nice!
