ITAP of a place to ponder your life. This one is in Höfn (pronunced "hup"), Iceland. As you see by the worn path to the bench, many people have gone there to ponder, or maybe just for the nice view. Turn round, and the view is of the town with wild glaciers behind you.

Hey, Kristin! I have seen these sorts of benches in small towns on Australia's coast as well, similarly situated on headlands overlooking the ocean. Most of the benches here have little memorial plaques commemorating a person (or a couple) who have passed away, but who were known for sitting on a particular bench... Do the Icelandic benches also bear such little memorials? BTW, I apologize for being a bit late in delivering your /fanfriday bonus 🎁 of 10% of my various allowances! aw, what a lovely story to hear about the Australian benches! I never saw a memorial like that before in other places. Thank you for the bonus! Btw, no one can tip farther anymore. It stopped at the end of August.
