If you've looked at 30+ photos of a place and still can't figure out what it is, chances are it's in China. Xujia Cigar Club. Xiamen, Fujian, China.

The nature of the Balkans is raw and powerful. Sunlit rocky coastlines inspire either blending architecture with nature or making nature part of the architecture itself. When I first visited the Balkans, I created a similar project for the metaverseā€”stone floors, cliffs, and an endless horizon above the sea instead of walls. Seeing this hotel, I felt a connection with its architectural approachā€”embracing and harnessing natureā€™s ability to heal, calm, and restore. ACRO Wellness Suites. Ag. Pelagia, Crete, Greece

The small Italian town of Polignano a Mare is lucky to have one of the most unique coastlinesā€”cliffs with countless caves. In one of these caves, youā€™ll find the Grotta Palazzese restaurant, offering stunning views of the Adriatic Sea. Just a heads-up: you need to book well in advance, so itā€™s not exactly a spot for a spontaneous adventure! Grotta Palazzese. Polignano a Mare, Italy

New York is one of the greatest capitals of Art Deco architecture. The crown jewel of this era, at least in scale, is undoubtedly Rockefeller Center. It all started in 1932 with Radio City Music Hall, located at the corner of 6th Avenue and W 50th St. The interior exudes understated luxuryā€”impressive room dimensions, minimalist decor, premium materials, and breathtaking murals. If you're in New York, whether you're a local or just visiting, I highly recommend checking out the Music Hallā€™s program and finding a reason to immerse yourself in the elegance of the 1930s. Thereā€™s beauty in many things, but I see greatness in simplicity. When the form fits the function so perfectly that any addition would feel unnecessary. Thatā€™s exactly what sets the Exhibition Hall in Dornbirn, Austria apart. The impressive hall is painted black to become the ultimate backdrop for whatever will fill it.

Despite the simplicity of old horror movies, they often scare me more. No matter how advanced the graphics get, they still donā€™t feel real. And no special effects have ever killed my appetite the way that scalp removal scene by the professor in Re-animator did.

Remember that final scene in Tomb Raider with Angelina Jolie, where the planets of the solar system are spinning? The creators of this bookstore must have had that in mind. Honestly, bookstores in China are on another level. Every city has its own mind-blowing spot. Zhongshuge Bookstore, Huaian, Jiangsu, China

Yangzhou Zhongshuge is the Knowledge Tunnel in Changzhou, China. It is a bookstore and library whose design pays tribute to the city's history. The river was once a channel that brought scholars and poets to the city, while bridges were cultural and trade hubs.

I had no idea what I was looking at, but it was awesome. That was my thought for the first five minutes of staring at photos of Meland Park. Turns out, itā€™s a huge playground where kids interact with each other, parents, and play elements. That made more sense, but still, itā€™s super cool. meland club. Whuhan, hubai, China

While cropping an image for uploading to farcaster again, I thought how cool it would be to have an in-app cropping feature for posts šŸ˜± You could upload images in any proportion and just use a frame to select the display area right there āœ‚

Retro, a touch of futurism, soft lighting that keeps the room dim, red accents, and the shiny dress of the girl from 2046. Itā€™s not something that jumps out at you in Wong Kar-wai's film, but as you take in the restaurantā€™s details, you realize itā€™s a delicate recreation of the original atmosphere. 2046 restaurant. The restaurant's design in China is inspired by Wong Kar-wai's films, while in the U.S., there's a Star Wars-themed hotel. Welcome to a world shaped by geeks šŸ‘¾
