The number of followers shown on my profile feels like a Benjamin Button story - keeps shrinking. What if one day I open Farcaster and it asks me to sign up again? 🤔 But that’s not as important as the puzzle I obsessed over today. In my new kitchen, there’s no space for recycling bins - so I had to leave just a small one for compost there and move the rest into the hallway. I use the standard white IKEA bins: one big for plastic, and two smaller ones for paper and mixed waste. I’ve had them for 5 years and they are great, but... Now the first thing I see when I get home is... trash bins. And I don’t like that. Actually, I hate it. I’d prefer a nicer first impression. So, if these bins are going to be front, maybe it’s time for a prettier solution. I saw one potential option from IKEA that mounted on the wall and looks nice, but I’m not sure it‘s practical. So I wanted to ask for your advice - maybe you’ve found a waste-sorting setup that actually works well and that you like?

On the plus side, I like that they are removable and easy to clean. On the downside, they are only 21L

We have bins for non-organic waste on the terrace. Quite comfortable, but you need to have a terrace 😅

I use small bins from ikea under my sink. I have to take them out often. But I got used to it.
