I have a combination of Pilates and neurological training, so my pace isn't as fast as it could be in a group 😅
I used to go to the gym for strength training, but during covid, I tried an online Pilates course and started working out at home. I liked that you could challenge your body without weights, and over time, I began to feel my body much better.
I have pretty slow muscle growth and used to train at the gym 2-3 times a week, at least once with a trainer, following a diet to gain mass. But in reality, my body didn’t change much compared to now. Plus, I never really liked the weights I was working with—it intuitively felt like there was a limit, beyond which progress became risky, and the chances of injury increased.
What excites me the most, though, is that in recent years, I’ve been reading about the nervous system and found workouts that align with that theory. So it all naturally fits with my approach to training. 0 reply
