procrastination - my favorite frenemy😅 after 1.5 years of ‘I’ll do it later,’ I finally framed my favorite ‘apple’ painting (the one with my tiny cameo in it) tried 4 options and nailed the perfect one in 2 minutes. why do we delay things that take no time to finish?

the weekend was all about warmth and coziness mom and I went to the forest and the river—it was the first time I felt spring in the air, nature slowly waking up around us. So magical! p.s. by the way, I saw a beaver here once, but not this time))

just the other day, I remembered a band that I listened to 15 years ago when I was studying at the institute. and they have a concert! every 7 years I go to their concerts. I was hanging out today 🤪 Nostalgia. guess what style the band sings in.

drive 100 km to buy this fig and artichoke? Done. 2 months ago, I saw these adorable handmade ceramic figurines and didn’t buy them. I couldn’t stop thinking about them, but I didn’t know the artist. ended up making a 200 km detour just to get them. what are you willing to do for your desires?

sometimes such a strong disappointment happens, mixed with anger, when I have high hopes, I get charmed ahead of time. that’s exactly what happened this time. When I saw this piece, I was shocked—how could they even show this to me? 😤 it was really bad. in the end, I had to send it back for corrections

sometimes I’m just too lazy to work out, so I came up with this “10-minute rule” trick. I basically trick my brain by convincing myself to just do 10 minutes of yoga. And you know what? most of the time, I end up going way longer 😅 just 10 minutes—it’s quick, it’s easy, and before you know it, the habit forms on its own.

you know what’s the hardest thing? - - Keeping it simple. Recently, @katekornish gave me a consultation on managing social media, and one of my main inside was to just write whatever comes to mind. Keep the posts simple! 🙏 it’s the same with drawing—I know how to draw by working on every little detail. But then I go back to a simple sketch, and it turns out that drawing it in 15 minutes is way harder 🫠 the toughest part is stepping into the role of a student and keeping it simple. you know what I mean?
