I had a mini rant on /gmfarcaster today about calling crypto an industry I don’t know why I’m so sensitive about it but the term feels off to me lately. Prob bc when it’s used it tries to create a monolith from a very un monolithic thing

Feel this as well. Industries are apolitical and the focus is making money. Crypto is very political (anti-authoritarian) and the focus is making money.

Very political. Hmm maybe this is why it feels so wrong to me- trying to fit it into pre existing models when it’s so inherently disruptive
