I don’t know why I’m so sensitive about it but the term feels off to me lately. Prob bc when it’s used it tries to create a monolith from a very un monolithic thing

Yeah, it doesn't feel right to me either but lacking a better word, I go with it

"Movement" is an alternative, but it feels a bit too woo and intangible

"Tech paradigm" also is fine, but feels like something a moonboy would say

Very political. Hmm maybe this is why it feels so wrong to me- trying to fit it into pre existing models when it’s so inherently disruptive

Feel this as well. Industries are apolitical and the focus is making money. 

Crypto is very political (anti-authoritarian) and the focus is making money.
