with JD Vance becoming the VP pick, it made me wonder: how long will it be before we see a prominent tech industry or Silicon Valley leader run a successful campaign for the presidency or vice presidency? 2032?

think altman is the most likely to do this, unless the world changes enough in the meantime that it makes it irrelevant to be a president of USA
