It seems inevitable for nouns to one day have a more formal way of saying "you're a citizen of noun world"

And it will NOT be owning a Noun, as we slowly grow the world and the DAO is no longer synonymous with the movement (it already isn't, but the diff isn't huge yet).

somehow I find myself resisting the “networked state” definition so hard

the obsession around owning territory feels backwards to me. like as if it doesn’t believe a digital world can be real enough to matter.

imo not territory but cultural relevance, thats the one thing balaji got wrong

ye, i think cultural relevance is the big thing  here
