The only way to keep the experiment going is with funding though. Even the “nouns funds dreams” perspective only really works if the treasury is full enough to fund those dreams I don’t see any other way to keep the experiment going if there is no treasury

Yea if the framing helps figure out how to sustain the treasury independent of the auction then I agree. Truth might hurt but the truth to me is that we’d need to tighten to belt around charity / proliferation proposals. We’d need more ideas around rev sharing between proposals funded by nouns and nouns itself. 4844 doc was an interesting attempt here. Need to encourage proposals that will return back to the dao. Something like: 50 ETH to build a product that will return 1/2 of its profits to nouns and the proposer gets to keep 1/2 as well. Make it someone’s job to bring wealth into nouns. Incentives should be that when nouns succeeds this person succeeds too
