I appreciate:

1. that 1st of Jan was mid of the week, made the holiday feel like a nice break without disrupting the flow of work too much.

2. that first weekend of the year is coming soon, feels like the holidays is extended.

3. the fresh start of the year, I decided to let go of whatever that was unpleasant in the past and move on for a better year ahead!
