⌐◨-◨ A quick recap of what we experienced today during the Children's Day celebration in my country, Honduras. A tradition filled with music, rice with chicken (arroz con pollo)as the main dish, a little bag with candies ( as we call them here, confites), a good piece of Nounish cake, and also a piñata. This celebration is something my mom always organizes, and this year we decided to make it Nounish with the support of my friend @kohm Happy Children's Day #nounskidz

You need a strong wrist flick and to turn very, very quickly, shaking the pan so that the batter slides.

You need to tilt the pan very quickly so that the batter covers the entire surface of the pan and makes large, round pancakes. If there’s a hole, add more batter, and yes, it needs to be very thin. I hold the crepe pan in my hand at a height and turn it to spread the batter over the entire surface.

Hello again! I have to say, making crepes for the first time was an adventure! The batter slipped off the pan so many times, I thought it was trying to escape. I ended up with a few thick pancakes at first—but after a few more tries, the crepes finally started to come out thin. I did end up with some mystery silhouettes…🤔still not sure what or who they are, haha. But hey, I managed to make mini crepes in the end! 😅

Heat the crêpe pan to a high temperature (8/10), and once the surface is hot, grease it with a cloth or pad lightly soaked in butter or a mixture of neutral oil (like sunflower or canola). Pour a ladle of batter onto the crêpe pan and swirl your pan to cover the entire surface. Don’t make it too thick, remember, it’s not a pancake. Cook the crêpe for about a minute, then flip it with a crêpe spatula and continue cooking for a moment on the other side. It should be golden like in the picture. Continue this way for the next crêpes, but don’t forget to grease your crêpe pan regularly, even before each crêpe. Enjoy 😋 @betashop.eth @ccarella.eth @globs @nutellacrepe.eth @kohm

Yessss! The event was fantastic, and I enjoyed taking a picture with @ccarella.eth and my friend @lab9527 . I didn’t get a chance to chat much because of an appointment after the event, but I’m excited to learn more and hope to connect with @ccarella.eth again at the next meetup.
