đ€ anti-pattern.
For those developing "mini-apps", not frames v1, the perspective is broader than Farcaster & the desire to find customers/users is insatiable.
Is it a better ux for the non FC user, if a dev onboards them by meeting them where they are on their crypto journey or says hey get an FC account first?
Maybe closer to your point though, people are generally comfortable with having separate accounts per app. As developers, this model has proven to be a reliable UX: "Sign up here, or if you already have one of 'these' accounts, go ahead and authenticate with it." People arenât accustomed to (and might not be ready for) combining authentication, payments, ownership, authorization, and, if we squint, identificationâall in one place with little privacy. It could take another 5-10 years for this to evolve & become a norm.
The sooner we adjust the "it's a crypto social network" positioning the more green FC grass there will be for all app devs to touch. 0 reply
