It's business gift giving season. The gifts I remember most fall into one of three categories: 

- Edible (personal fav as recipient)
- Alive
- Educational

While I will always remember the people who gave me the books Speed of Trust & The Origin of Brands, I don't think about those books that often. The plants I've received, and have in the kitchen, are a weekly if not daily reminders of the givers. One plant is over a decade old.
