Crypto is maturing. But most people in it aren’t. Too many founders still build for the chart, not the user. They wrap up fragile products in aggressive tokenomics, hoping price momentum will mask a lack of substance. But here’s what I think: the trade-first era is dying. Markets might still reward noise in the short term, but usage compounds. Usefulness compounds. Ecosystems with real surface area for builders will survive. Everything else will just rotate faster until no one’s left holding the bag. If your token disappears, and the product disappears with it I’m sorry but it was never real. You’ll be better off building something people would use even if the token went to zero. That’s how you make it inevitable, That’s why you should come to farcaster.

This is so true. Permissionless doesn’t just mean anyone can post. it means you can be anyone, say anything, and not apologize for thinking out loud. If that freedom makes you uncomfortable, maybe it’s not the app that needs rethinking.

Food always tastes better when you’ve made it while talking nonsense with people you love. maybe that’s what the weekend is for not to escape real life,homemade meals with my mum and her sisters are the best, I love them so much.

I used to think I had a focus problem. Turns out I had a permission problem. I’d wait for my schedule to clear up, I’d tweak my setup. I’d search for the perfect conditions to go deep. When what I really needed was to declare war on distractions. Silence the notifications. Leave the group chat. Say no to three good things just to say yes to one real thing. No system will do this for you. No calendar app. No productivity guru. If you want to make something great, you have to become someone who protects their own mind. Because the world will not do it for you.

We say we want a better internet through farcaster but we’re defaulting into the same attention traps as every other platform. Engagement as dopamine. Content as bait. People optimizing for reach, not value. The scariest part isn’t that Farcaster might fail. It’s that it will succeed just not in the way we hoped. A thriving network, filled with content, drained of meaning.

Personal preference but I don’t trust anyone who says they want to build something meaningful and still lives like their calendar is empty. Building at a high level means you’re dropping balls elsewhere. Your social life takes a hit. Your comfort disappears. You lose the illusion of balance. It’s not dysfunction that’s just the trade and pretending otherwise is how people waste 5 years “planning.” We’ve romanticized building to the point where people think it should feel good all the time. But the truth is: if you aren’t occasionally doubting your sanity, you’re not pushing hard enough.

Most people in crypto don’t care about decentralization anymore. I think they care more about optionality now, the freedom to exit, move, swap, bridge, mint, build, and vanish. Only person on farcaster who has BUILT, moved, swapped, bridged, minted and successfully VANISHED is @proxystudio.eth
