When FAFO bites you on the 🍑

I had to log out of my account for a second on my phone, and when I was logging back in I accidentally chose the recovery with email option (I thought I was just logging in with email). 

It started a recovery process, and today I was met with a screen that asked me to finish that process. Since there was no other option I complied and saved a new recovery phrase, but now Warpcast doesn't let me log in with it, there's an error at the next step  when it asks for the email address 😱😱😱

I already wrote an email to support, but who knows how long they take. 

My first thought was - am I going to lose my /framedl streak because of it? 😵😰🥶

Thank goodness I installed Recaster at some point, it still works for me and supports frames 🙏 

Turns out we really do need that decentralisation y'all 😭

Wow these were some wild 24 hours. 

I tried to recover the account again yesterday, so all in all I had gathered 3 different recovery phrases. 

And when the recovery was complete today I tried using the last one I got, and I was getting the error again, so I tried one of the previous ones and it worked 🙈

Btw I only got an automated reply from the support in this time period, and it's kinda concerning 😬 

Happy that I left the twilight zone, but also got a new appreciation of alternative clients, and a reinforced belief that we need a transparent ticket system here for support. 

Cause being locked out without any way to get answers is hella scary!
