My birdwatching dream came true!!! 🥹

I wanted to see bullfinches up close for the longest time. A family member told me she has seen them at the feeder, but I missed them that time.

And today I saw two pairs of them on the bush! At first they were wary of the feeder, but then they grew bold and now they even sit at it for 10-20 seconds at a time. 

While the tits take a seed and fly away to eat it in the bush, bullfinches stay at the feeder, husking the seeds one by one 😅

The male has that signature red belly, and the female is gray, but just as cute 😊

It's easier with the window! But I also hid behind the curtain to take photos 😊

that's a cool idea! i remember when i was a kid, we used to make feeders out of milk cartons, but the birds would only come when no one was around :)
