Web2 gamers are won over via their hearts, not their wallets. How about just shipping a fun game instead of “vampire attacking”? Even the daily terminology we flippantly repeat in Web3 is super cringe for Web2 users. The road to mass adoption is paved by good intentions, not bribery nor theft.

Ikr? Western Web2 Gamer: “Crypto money is all from scams” Web3 Game Dev: “Here take some free money! We promise we’re not a scam” Just doesn’t work even if the game dev is telling the truth
