I have a low opinion of any network which pre-reserves tokens to special parties, even its developers.

BTC didn’t have a pre allocation. You might be able to argue that there was sort of a pre-mine post network launch due to how few had access to it, but it’s a very different scenario from the explicitly reserved allotments. As for ETH, yes, I do, particularly for that reason.
