Try the Oxford English Dictionary. They do quarterly updates to add new words. 1.Spam and low-quality content on Farcaster remain an issue, highlighting the need for better user education. Imo, in the post-onboarding phase, a brief guide, video, or Mini-App could help new users understand FC's culture and responsible engagement before making their first post. 2. If the main focus of users shifts to airdrops, Farcaster could become more like a reward-hunting platform rather than a social network.

Looking Ahead 9. Base is adding a Farcaster-powered feed to Coinbase Wallet and will likely significantly increase the number of onboarded and active FIDs. 10. As part of this integration, we're improving parts of the protocol to make it less dependent on Warpcast. This work will make it easier for any other existing or new app to integrate Farcaster. This includes improvements to sign in with Farcaster and direct cast APIs. 11. We're actively investigating how to reduce the cost of sign ups while still managing spam. 12. We're considering and soliciting input on simplifying product names: Warpcast to Farcaster app, Frames to mini apps, etc. The goal is to make it easier to understand for consumers. 13. Ultimately, our most important priority remains the same: significantly increase the number of daily active users on the protocol. If we achieve that, developers will have a larger potential audience for their mini apps and/or clients. 2/3

Should we rebrand Warpcast to Farcaster? We separated Warpcast (the app) from Farcaster (the protocol) a few years ago. We've heard from many new users that this is very, very confusing. People hear about Farcaster, search in the app store, can't find anything called Farcaster and then churn.

Are you saying buy this coin? No. I have no opinion on whether you should or should not buy this coin. Are memecoins good or bad? Neither. They just are. Shouldn't you be protecting people? People are adults and if they're on Farcaster today, they're cryptonative. They are sophisticated (relative to an average non-crypto person) and are capable of making their own decisions. Why don't you make the feature opt-in? Opt-in features don't get much usage. Very few features shipped should be opt-in / a setting. Good article, nice technical depth. First comment is very helpful on the clarification of AC vs DC capacity factor, though it's an in-the-weeds detail that doesn't really change the jist. Still an important point. And separately, while solar costs coming down presents a significant opportunity for expanding traditional solar footprints, there is also the potential for vastly different form factors and applications. Similar to the point that EVs represent synthetic storage, decreased cost of solar PVs enables (maybe encourages) the development of "synthetic" or secondary capture. Think windows, industrial surface cladding, etc.
