ladies 30+ what is the best thing you've done for your skin? from topicals to lasers to injectables to surgical intervention, i'm curious what's been worth it to you! (besides daily SPF - we can all agree that's the absolutely necessary one)

change pillowcase often, clarins double serum (LOVE), la roche posay b5+ as a moisturizer in winter, dermalogica daily microfoliant a couple times a week, and a less is more attitude to skincare products in general

@erica omg yes if i had to choose just one laser treatment it would hands down be Moxi !! i got it done over the holidays and saw a big difference with just 1 treatment but you can see other people’s results on reddit with 2 or 3 it’s super effective results!

@erica adding on that i also did 2 rounds of BBL which was super great for evening tone / brightness + lightening any dark spots, had a lot of pink in my cheeks originally that is gone now

ooh yes i've been looking into BBL bc i am a sun and surf child who grew up in california and did not put sunscreen on my face/neck/chest all the time and now i'm paying for it lol what was your downtime like for the lasers? there's a clinic i go to here that offers BBL for face/neck/chest and i was considering doing that after the summer ends!

yesss same grew up in florida haha. BBL is perfect for that. really no downtime i was just slightly pink for a few hours after treatment, it was more my skin texture felt sandpapery/bit of peeling around nose so lots of moisturizer and no makeup for a few days up to a week. Moxi i would say take a full weekend to stay in, was red and just a bit swollen next day, i didn’t wear makeup for about 7-10 days but so worth it!
