a whole new set of mini apps are viable now with the ability to minimize in mobile and have apps on the side on desktop i think backgammon/chess type would be fun i'm biased on backgammon but chess is popular these days

so the issue with a backgammon mini app is rn the best backgammon engine in the world is paid and windows only, the second best is GNUbg which is GPL and unusable in paid or monetized products, and the other alternatives are like 3 steps down the ladder — i am making my own engine, then want my own app + mini app

so backgammon galaxy allows you to export your games to get them analyzed by xtreme gammon or gnubg on your computer, because neither are usable within their product legally, and then it has its own engine. idk what ELO its own engine is at but xg and gnubg are elite tier, mine is going to be also

it seems like such low hanging fruit but i talked to my uncle about this for a while and he said the lowest hanging fruit that'd make the most money is just doing vision AI from cam recordings --> transcribing for analysis, at a tournament rn each game has a person just watching and transcribing
