end of an era. FiveThirtyEight is shutting down. honestly the writing was on the wall when 538 lost its founder, Nate Silver, and its founding creative team and then downward spiraled assimilating into Disney only to get closed by ABC News. sad. hopefully a new data site arises, built on top of @polymarket.

While it's clear that many things need to change for Ethereum to win, it's easy to overcorrect and kill the magic in search of maximal optimization. This week's announcements make me confident we've struck the right balance between these two extremes.
