what made working on the original coven collection so exciting for me was building out a world for the witches to live in. beginning with the WITCH descriptions, where does their power come from? where do they live? how do they use magic to manipulate the world around them?

with the TREE OF ECHOES and THE NARRATOR'S HUT, we explored those dynamics in short stories. who was the first OCCULTIST to deal with demons? who was the first MAGE to bestow power through tattoos?
